Joby Joseph,

A versatile management executive with over 23 years in building sustainable structures and teams, improving the financial and operational performance of Organisations.

Joby’s key expertise lies in Financial Services, Customer Service, Start Ups, Human Resources and the Outsourcing Sector where he has been responsible for setting up new businesses, turning around underperforming processes and developing highly effective strategies to enhance performance efficiencies.

Prior to setting up Just Hull, Joby was India Head, Global Sourcing, HR BPO at Aon Hewitt and a member of the Aon Hewitt Global Leadership Team. He was also the only member from India on the Hewitt University Board. Under Joby’s leadership, Aon Hewitt established BPO centers in new cities while expanding existing centers, won several multi-year, multi-million dollar contracts and delivered substantial productivity improvements and a high level of employee loyalty, despite a volatile economic environment.

Before joining Aon Hewitt, Joby was Business Leader and Vice President at Exl Services, a leader in the BPO sector. Joining as Director Operations, Joby was one of Exl Services’ founding employees and was responsible for setting up multiple operating centres and centres of excellence that helped Exl attain an All-India #1 rating by Nasscom, within its first year of operation.

Joby also spent over 13 years at American Express where he led teams in customer services, risk management, relationship management and account management. At American Express, Joby had the privilege of working with Mr Raman Roy – known as the Father/Pioneer of the BPO Industry in India. He was hand-picked by Mr Roy to set up the first 24-hour Call Centre for American Express in India.

Joby has also been an Advisor to the Govt of Kerala on how it could contribute via Human Capital Development to create a talent pool for the BPO sector. He has also been a Guest lecturer at the Faculty of Management Studies, Delhi University , been invited by Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow and has often been quoted in the Press for his views.

Joby holds an MBA from the Faculty of Management Studies, Delhi University and a Commerce Degree from Sri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi University. He is also been certified as a Registered Coordinator by COPC – a globally recognised standards organisation.

Oscar De Mello,

An innovative Business Leader with over 23 years in General Management, Marketing, Sales and CRM with a proven track record in Business Development, Client Management and in leading teams (Proprietary and Third-party) to deliver business successes, operating efficiencies and overall profitability.

Oscar’s key expertise lies in People Leadership, Strategy Building, Business Development, Business Alliances, HR Practices and General Management for existing businesses as well as in the creation of new business opportunities.

Prior to setting up Just Hull, Oscar was Country Head-Reward Information Services, India, at Hay Group – a global HR Consulting firm. He was a member of Hay Group’s India Top Team. Under Oscar’s leadership, Hay Group conducted Compensation and Benefit studies for sectors like BPO, Retail, Chemicals and Oil and Gas, as well as Market Compensation studies in India, Pakistan and Bangladesh. Oscar has provided HR Consultancy and Advice to Companies in a diverse range of sectors like Retail, Oil and Gas, Manufacturing, Telecom and Pharma. Oscar also had overview of Hay Group’s new Productised Services vertical and created its initial business, investment and people strategy plans.

Before joining Hay Group, Oscar was Director and Market Head, Merchant Services International, India & Area Countries at American Express. He was also a member of the American Express Country Executive Team. Under Oscar’s leadership, the Merchant Services business grew exponentially in India, Nepal, Bhutan and Bangladesh through high visibility spend stimulation Marketing programs and Strategic Merchant Alliances targeted at the HNI Customer base. Oscar was also a member of the core team that launched the American Express Platinum Revolve Card. He was responsible for introducing Card usage in Sectors like Oil, Telecom, Insurance, Supermarkets, Education and for creating the exclusive (even today) signature-less transactions for the Aviation and Travel Sectors.

Oscar has been a guest lecturer at Institutions like MDI Gurgaon and Fore School of Management. He is also an Industry Mentor for MDI’s student mentorship program 2011. Oscar has often been interviewed and quoted in the Press for his views on subjects relating to HR and Compensation, also on marketing for the HNI customer.

Oscar is a certified to conduct Hay Group’s Job Mapping and Executive Mapping protocols. He is also a certified trainer for Sales, CRM and Compliance programs and has also been a Six-Sigma Champion (Sponsor ).
